Let’s talk heavy metals.
When I think of heavy metals, my mind immediately shifts to a rock concert with loud music and some guy thrashing about with his guitar.
Please don’t tell me I’m the only one. 🙂
Metals such as mercury, aluminum, and thallium travel under the radar but have been linked to things like diabetes, hypertension, even autoimmune conditions.
Although these conditions are the result of heavy metal toxicity, the catalyst for them is fatigue.
The #1 complaint when people go to the doctor is fatigue.
Why don’t we have the energy we had when were kids or even young adults? The answer could lie in learning how to detox heavy metals from the body.
Heavy metals’ mechanism of action is to block energy production within the cell. The metals antagonize the mitochondria within the cell making it impossible to produce energy.
What is the result?
Fatigue…and if fatigue isn’t bad enough, constant fatigue is a gateway to more serious conditions. Fear not because you can detox heavy metals and reclaim your energy.
Listen to the podcast I did with Wendy Myers and learn how to detox properly and get,”Limitless Energy”.
Who is Wendy Myers?
Wendy is a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist and a Detox Guru.
Wendy’s interest in nutrition began with the death of her father from esophageal cancer.
Intuitively, she knew his chemo, radiation, and ten medications killed him prematurely.
She vowed to find out what made him sick, why he died, what role medications played in his demise, and how she could avoid the same fate.
The more Wendy learned, the more she realized that all the answers to health do not lie in our medical system.
Food, detoxification and natural healing modalities must be used to compliment the advances in modern medicine.
She is passionate about educating the public on the importance of long term detoxing considering our toxic world.
She healed her own health issues through hair mineral analysis and developed a unique detox and supplement program.
Wendy wants to help others do the same.
Inside The Episode
There is nothing I enjoy more than speaking with nutritionists.
They are the ones who are in the trenches and helping others get answers when they can’t get them from their doctor.
Nutritionists are also on top their game and abreast of the latest research. I can say these are the minor reasons why I like interviewing those with nutrition expertise.
You want my major reason?
Many of the people in the nutritional field got their start because they had their own illness and couldn’t get answers from doctors.
In order for them to finally get relief from their symptoms, many take matters into their own hands.
Once they take charge of their own destiny, wellness ensues and from their struggle they begin helping others.
Wendy’s story is one of losing her father and then finding herself battling with her own health issues.
It is through these tragedies that she seemingly found herself and her purpose.
