Imagine.
You’re eating tons of food and never gaining any weight; in fact you’re losing it.
Sounds like a dream, but what if you lost so much weight it becomes unhealthy?
For someone suffering from Crohn’s disease, becoming emaciated can be reality.
How can this happen?
Contrary to popular belief, it is not eating that sustains the human body.
It is the ability to absorb the nutrients from what is eaten that does.
Because those who suffer from CD are not able to absorb nutrients due to intestinal issues, it can create problems.
Bloating, diarrhea, and fatigue are commonplace for people suffering from Crohn’s
Greysa Cerpa-Lopez visits the podcast to enlighten us about “Achieving Digestive Bliss” using different healing modalities including Ayurveda.
Who Is Greysa Cerpa-Lopez
Greysa Cerpa Lopez suffered from Crohn’s disease and decided to use conventional medical treatment.
As a child growing up, her family had always followed an organic, holistic lifestyle.
When conventional medical treatments failed to reduce the symptoms associated with Crohn’s, she decided to revisit her holistic upbringing.
She sought out a naturopathic doctor and began her healing journey. Greysa incorporates Ayurveda, yoga, and deep breathing as modalities for ease in her life.
Since she has adopted a holistic lifestyle and added other healing elements, she no longer needs medication and is in great health.
Inside The Episode
I mention on the episode Greysa and I met through a mutual friend.
I have a very good friend who once worked with Greysa and he knew she had an interest in health.
He called me and ask if I would be interested in meeting her, and the result is this podcast episode!
